Vacation 2010 Starts off With a Trip to Seattle

You can never go wrong with a visit to lifelong friends. Even though I met Jessica my freshman year in college, which is technically only about 1/2 my life at this point, she seems like a lifelong friend. And given that we are on different coasts, we don't get to see each other near enough! After enjoying a day hanging out in Seattle and visiting the Pike Place Market, we headed up to Victoria, BC on the Clipper. We had been to Victoria in college on her parents sailboat and it was fun to see it once again.The highlight was tea at The Empress Hotel - where believe it or not - they have a Gluten Free Tea (they better for the $62 price tag!). They did their best to match all the tea sandwiches and pastries to the real thing and it was yummy!



It was great to catch up withe Jessica after not seeing her in several years!
